Why Give Tithes and Provide an Offering

Our tithing was commanded throughout the Bible. We learn to glean and love to tithe and give an offering. It is an act of love in obedience. God does not need your finances but if you are following scriptures, what you have is not of your own. Your tithing along with offering is to assist the sanctuary in its building costs and education to disciple. There are many times we see in scripture that your tithing has paid it foward in God for what could have happened in your life. It is voided becuase of your obedience in love.
